First, we will ascend the majestic Irazú Volcano (11.000 feet above sea level) in the province of Cartago. After admiring the enormous crater and breathtaking views (both the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans on a clear day!), we continue our tour to the beautiful Lankaster Gardens. Here over 3000 species of plants, including a spectacular collection of orchids, await you. The area is noted for its rich soil, abundant plant life and resplendent coffee plantations.
